GOATS
In GOATS, Sarah Baltzinger + Isaiah Wilson plunge the performers into a surreal, absurd world where human-goat hybrids wander through a landscape of alienation. Drawing on Gilles Deleuze’s concept of “becoming-animal,” the piece reflects on the disconnection and confusion of modern life. In a time marked by ecological collapse, social fragmentation, and constant pressure to adapt, metamorphosis becomes the only escape. a return to instinct as a way of surviving an increasingly inhuman world.
