Isaiah Wilson
Isaiah Wilson began dancing at the age of 11. He trained at the Conservatoire du Nord in Luxembourg and pursued a fine arts curriculum, Générale Artistique, at the Lycée des Arts et Métiers.
In 2016, Isaiah began his professional dance studies at Codarts University of the Arts in Rotterdam, a renowned institution known for its rigorous curriculum and strong contemporary dance repertoire. During his final year, he completed an internship with the acclaimed company ICK Amsterdam, under the direction of Emio Greco and Pieter C. Scholten.
Returning to Luxembourg in 2020, Isaiah launched his artistic career, collaborating for two years with choreographer Jill Crovisier and serving as Artistic Director of Foqus, a multimedia company based in Luxembourg.
In 2022, he was invited as a guest artist by the Dresden Frankfurt Dance Company, performing a work by Saar Magal. That same year, he won 2nd Prize for Choreography at the International Tanz Festival Stuttgart for his piece FÉVRIER, and created the short dance film SUBMERGE, featuring a solo performed entirely underwater.
In 2023, Isaiah was selected by TROIS C-L – Centre de Création Chorégraphique Luxembourgeois for their New Creators program, presenting score, a trio blending dance and scientific innovation, following his solo project 331 grams.
Since 2022, Isaiah has collaborated with Sarah Baltzinger as co-artistic director on multiple projects, including the internationally acclaimed duet MEGASTRUCTURE. The piece received several awards at the RIDCC (Rotterdam International Duet Choreographic Competition) in June 2023, including the XL Production Award, which led to the creation of a new work for Scapino Ballet Rotterdam, premiered in 2025.
Following the RIDCC recognition, the duo also received four partner awards from Nederlands Dans Theater, Skånes Dansteater, Sally Dansgezelschap Maastricht, and MAAS Theater en Dans, and were selected by Aerowaves for its 2024 artist lineup. As part of this journey, Isaiah and Sarah conducted a dedicated research residency at NDT2(Nederlands Dans Theater).
In 2025, Isaiah and Sarah also created the choreography for Damso’s BĒYĀH tour, marking a major crossover into the music and pop performance world.
Looking ahead, the duo will return to Scapino Ballet in 2026 to create WAXES, a new production that continues the themes and aesthetics of their previous work Vénus Anatomique.
